Knights last Goal of the Metro
Season.
Buda took the ball and was fouled near the opponents penalty box. The referee called for a direct kick.
Jessie did not hesitate to chip a powerful shot that sailed over the wall, sending the ball to the right side of the goalie, scoring the last goal of the metro season. GO LADY KNIGHTS !!!

Jessie took a free kick near the
midfield line, she sent the ball to
the left channel toward the goalie box where Shelby was waiting
patiently.
Shelby with a first touch shot beat
the goalie equalizing the game. GO

Knights Fourth Goal.
Emmy faced an opponent in the right channel and stole the ball for our team, then she performed a long pass toward Buda.
Buda controlled the ball and beat her defender with speed, she continued dribbling the ball on the right and took a powerful shot from the penalty box line to the upper right corner of the goalie, scoring the 4th goal of the VUSC Lady Knights.

anticipating a defender.

Emmy tried to control the ball at midfield, then Jessie was able to retrieve the ball from the opponent and passed a long ball to Shelby in the left channel.
Shelby started a break away and placed the ball to the left side of the goalie, scoring the second goal for the VUSC Lady Knights.

Vero was able to retrieve the ball at midfield and passed the ball softly to Buda, she was able to beat a first defender and continued forward facing the last defender.
Buda did a fake beating the last defender before placing the ball to the right side of the goalie. This was the last goal of the U-10 metro season in District VI, U-10 Girls, Division D.

Class 3 Soccer team held
an awesome fund raising
activity that consisted
of a car wash, yard
sale, baking sale and a
raffle. It was the best
example of team work,
cooperation, hard work
and enjoyment by the
players and parents of
this awesome soccer
team.
Our
girls worked really
hard, at the tender age
of 9 gave us the
motivation to do our
best to foster their
soccer development ...
