CALENDAR

TRAINING PROGRAM

The training program will foster the sequential development of our players in 6 basic units: ball mastery, receiving and passing, 1 v 1 moves, speed, finishing and group plays. It will also include attendance to professional women soccer games, homework assignments, soccer video sessions on targeted topics, attendance to "specific theme" soccer clinics and the use of the internet to learn from approved soccer websites.

Technique Training:
It is conducted during the skill training session. Players will work at a high intensity, doing progressive advanced drills: Ball control, dribbling (moves), passing and receiving, tackling, defending, crossing, shooting.

Tactical Training:
It is important to bring training to the next level. Players will be exposed into game and specific situational training: Team attacking, defending, positioning on the field, off the ball movement, set plays and group plays.

Conditioning:
This is an essential part of soccer: cardiovascular, strength, speed and agility. The emphasis will be to condition with the ball getting the most possible touches to the ball.

White Board Training:
This is needed to reinforce and clarify given topics. This format allows players to visualize a desired outcome prior to achieving it by themselves as a group and individually on the field.
