The "Lady Bugs" Youth Soccer Team started the 1999-2000 season with a victorious game over the Cougars. The score of 6 - 1 shows the superiority of our  girls who completely dominated the game.

September 11, 1999, was the starting of this season. Our first game was played on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Octo Inn Soccer Sports Complex. The game started at 3:15 pm. Bethany opened the road to victory scoring the first goal of the season at the fifth minute of the first quarter. Taylour assisted with a beautiful pass from the right side of the field.

On the second quarter, Gigi, our youngest player took opportunity of the confusion between the Cougars' goalie and defenders, and with a soft kick scored the second goal, at the third minute. A few minutes later, Wendy found the ball bouncing in front of the Cougars' goalie and scored the third goal. Just before the end of the second quarter, Taylour took possession of the ball on the left side of the field, and between two players kicked the ball to place it in the far right side of the goalie, scoring the fourth goal of our team.

During the third quarter, a fast run made by Taylour on the right side of the field allowed the "Lady Bugs" to score the fifth goal. Near the end of the fourth quarter, Bethany retrieved the ball on the left middle field and advanced toward the Cougars' end zone. She dribbled one player and as she started to run toward the goal, Lisa took the ball placing it with a right kick on the left side of the goal.

All our players had the chance to play in this game. The players alternated positions within the game. Our goalies for this game were Rebecca, Sarah and Vanessa. The defenders were Bethany, Wendy, Jessica, Rebecca. The midfield was composed by Sarah, Corina, Vanessa, Gigi. Our strikers were Lisa and Taylour.

Parents and siblings of the "Lady Bugs" showed a great support in this game. The typical Go Go Lady Bugs was heard really loud ... !!!
