This is a Christmas Carol from the Amazonas Department, in the north east of Perú. The song was made popular by the Conjunto "Amazonas" conducted by Angel Alvarado V.

Huachi Torito

A popular Christmas carol that is sung in the southeastern border communities and towns of Perú, Bolivia and the provinces of Salta and Jujuy in Argentina. This series of carols are part of the traditional "Dance of the Ribbons" (baile de las cintas), which starts with the characteristic style of Vidala (Argentina) o yaraví and to continue in the rhythm of wayno.
